Here I kneel at the ocean shore
You balk to behold my solemnity
The question I asked since the start of time
I present to you now, will you come with me?

Hear the waves crash up the shore
Breathe as they mount the beach
The rythm, the beauty, the calling from the sea
I ask you again, will you come with me?

The rush of waves going out to the sea
Is the sound of your breath drawn as you approach me
Step carefully my friend, my way is not easy
You can't turn back now, will you come with me?

We don't need a boat, my friend
Ignore the stick, you can put down that oar
On the water we'll walk, just trust in me
I just ask for your faith. Will you come with me?
It's the stroll of your life, will you come with me?

To me, my first thought was that this guy was calling someone... but as I wrote, it was more and more clear, that it wasn't the boy calling, it was the ocean itself... or something even bigger than that... Definitely something bigger.
